Intelligent Power

The Square-D Intelligent Load Center features automatic switching between main and alternate power sources. The unit, produced by Schneider Electric in collaboration with Kohler Power Systems, lets users monitor and control the generator via remote in case of a power failure. Should that occur, a generator is signaled to start, and power is restored within 10 seconds. Click here for more information

Rejuvenate Your Lights

The design on those Edison sockets is more than 125 years old; it's high time for some innovation. The GU24 system from Rejuvenation uses a self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamp with a convenient "twist and lock" pin base. Added bonus: the product fits well within California's Title 24 Energy Efficiency Standards. Click here for more information
