Housing Giants is making another big leap, and this time, you have more opportunity to contribute

VIDEO EDITORIAL

Recovery will depend on how you target generations, Bill says.

You can't deny a lot has changed here at Housing Giants. Almost a year and a half ago we were a print publication that landed in your mailbox six times a year. Then we shook things up again and became the digital publication you're reading now, delivered to your inbox more than 20 times a year. The changes made it possible for our readers to see the nation's top home building CEOs through video, hear the voices of sources such as HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan and interact with data and photographs thanks to flashy software. You Get News When You Need It

Starting this May, we're adapting again to serve our readers even better by using HousingGiants.com as our home base — a place you can turn daily for news that's for, about and by production builders. That means you won't receive a digital magazine twice a month; instead our Web site will continuously change as news becomes available, and we'll reach you via newsletters and news alerts to your inbox when breaking news warrants your attention. This is thrilling for me as a journalist. I can't tell you how frustrating it is right now to include links to stories for our News & Moves and know that, because it takes several days to physically produce the digital magazine, some of that news could be outdated by the time it reaches you, or worse, we'll miss out on delivering a huge story. We all know that you can't afford to miss big headlines, and using HousingGiants.com as your portal to the housing industry will keep you in-the-know.

You Drive What's Covered

HousingGiants.com will be for, about and by production builders, as I mentioned. That last part of the formula is key: we want to engage our community and have you, our readers, contributing to coverage. HousingGiants.com will be a forum for anyone related to production home building, be it a lumber manufacturer or sales rep or CEO. It will be an online community where you can pose questions, share links and comment on the industry's changes. No more passive readership. No more waiting for news.

You're Ready to Go

Around the beginning of May, you'll see HousingGiants.com's clean, fresh look. A redesigned site will make it easy to find important news and interact with other folks in the production home building community. All you have to do is stop by.

Want the newsletters and news alerts? Good news: if you already receive Housing Giants, you're already signed up. It's that easy.

We're happy to bring you an up-to-date, forward-thinking Housing Giants. I'll see you next at HousingGiants.com.
