The Luxury Property Showcase matched high-end furniture with high-end South Florida builders.

High-end furniture retailer Robb & Stucky recently partnered with 25 high-end home builders in South Florida for its first Luxury Property Showcase. At the daylong event at the company's 80,000-square-foot furnishings showroom in Boca Raton, builders showcased the luxury residential properties they're building from Fort Lauderdale to Vero Beach. More than 1,000 attendees turned out to meet the builder participants.

In launching the program, Robb & Stucky marketing director Cynthia Sandler wanted to create an event that introduced the public to luxury living options in a setting equally opulent. "Here we were able to showcase the luxury properties in the area and high-end furnishings under one roof."

Builders raved about the event.

"This most definitely will be on our itinerary for next year," said Matt Doyle, community relations manager for WCI Communities. "We were overwhelmed with the turnout and the quality of the traffic. We had a great opportunity to interact with quality prospects."

Mike Friedman, re-gional director of sales for developer/ builder The Ginn Co., said he appreciated an environment where the quality of the surroundings and other exhibitors was so high.

Robb & Stucky has six Florida showrooms plus one each in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Plano, Texas.
