Kitchen and bathroom renovations continue to be the most popular remodeling projects, and as consumers look to upgrade these spaces, details like cabinet hardware selection become a top priority.

According to Houzz’s 2024 Renovation Trends Study, a majority of homeowners (29%) are prioritizing kitchen remodels this year, with guest bathrooms and primary bathrooms following closely behind at 27% and 25%, respectively.

In doing these remodels, homeowners are looking to mix things up, with Fixr’s 2024 Kitchen and Bath Trends Report showing that homeowners today prefer versatile designs. Mixing materials emerged as a top trend this year, with many homeowners opting for contrasting finishes, such as pairing metallic hardware with wooden cabinets.

With these trends in mind, Custom Builder rounded up recent hardware releases that could be used in a variety of spaces. Whether it's a simple matte black knob or a warm brass appliance pull, these options span a number of styles designed with unique—yet timeless—renovations in mind.
