The water heater manufacturer has launched a new gas residential tankless product line with X3 Scale Prevention Technology, which extends the life of the unit three times beyond traditional tankless products, the company says, making it the first tankless unit to maintain “like-new” performance without requiring regular scale-related maintenance. The X3 units operate on a ½-inch gas line, vent with 2-inch PVC, and are 
available in three sizes.
