Moen Faucets
Responding to consumer demand for more authentic, Old World styling, Moen has added antique nickel and oil rubbed bronze finishes to its traditional Kingsley collection. "The demand for products that create an Old World look remains strong," says Kathleen Yates, group product manager for Moen. "These two new finishes take that Old World feel to a whole new level by creating more authenticity."
Both the antique nickel and oil rubbed bronze finishes incorporate similar technologies to create a weathered, distressed feel. Faucets are then sealed with a new protective coating to ensure long-term beauty and durability. According to Yates, similar products on the market offer a less permanent finish that, in many cases, changes appearance over time. The Moen finishes retain their look over the long-term and have been proven, through rigorous testing, to be as durable as any coating finish.
"Moen's design, functionality and product quality make their faucets stand out. We never have a problem with this company. Moen has good personnel representing its company. That's a big deal to us. People make a big difference in this industry. Moen is very responsive, bringing us information, keeping us abreast of new innovations and price changes.
"Plus, the product is easy to obtain and easy to install. From a construction aspect, Moen product goes in very well, which is why we install the product line throughout the home. Our buyers are trending toward a lot more nickel-plated faucets, as well as the antique nickel look. Victorian looks are becoming more and more popular, too. Moen makes all these looks very affordable."
