Lightolier

Lightolier recently introduced the Alcyon, part of its Lytespan one-circuit basic and radius track lighting system. Each fixture is suspended from a narrow, wireless blade-like stem that allows line-voltage heads to rotate 365 degrees. Click here for more information

In My Own Words

"We have tried other recessed fixtures and find the versatility and variety from Lightolier housing and trims to be the best to satisfy the needs of our clients and designers. And with most of our homes using 150 to 200 recessed lights, the cost of Lightolier is a great value, and they're easy to install."

Cedar Valley

Shingles from Cedar Valley Siding are tapered Western Red Cedar shingles with a 516-inch butt thickness affixed to 8-foot plywood-backed panels for easy installation. A fiberglass laminate serves as a breathable vapor barrier. Panels are available in 4-inch, 5-inch or 7-inch exposures and in regular or decorator styles. They can be pre-finished in a variety of colors. Click here for more information

In My own Words

"Cedar Valley siding and shingles, with their matching corners and radius flairs, give an authentic look to our homes with ease of installation. Our clients can custom select their stain or paint color and have it pre-finished by our supplier in a factory-controlled environment."

Huber Engineered Woods

Flooring and Sheathing panels from Huber Engineered Woods' AdvanTech line are high-performance structural panels engineered to provide more water resistance and stability than plywood. AdvanTech panels don't require sanding and are bonded with a proprietary resin. The line boasts a 50-year limited warranty. Click here for more information

In My Own Words

"We use a 7/8-inch Huber Engineered Woods AdvanTech sub-floor because it gives us superior floors with less warping and bounce. With the resin impregnation, there is limited water absorption during construction, and this allows us to install our finished flooring without worrying about the moisture content of our sub-flooring."

Lutron

Lutron's lighting control systems include the Maestro line of smart dimmers. Homeowners can adjust lights from anywhere in the room. It features a recall button for favorite light levels and is compatible with 3-way wiring for installations and retrofits. Click here for more information

In My Own Words

"The Lutron lighting control systems are chosen by most of our tech-savvy clients to control both natural daylight and electrical lighting. This is one of those 'bells and whistles' that most clients can't live without."
