With the help of a talented architect and landscaper, we designed a new-construction home for our client in Quogue, N.Y. Our goal was to curate a comfortable, livable space while incorporating unique eye-catching moments throughout the open floor plan. We used elements such as a double-story faux concrete wall in the living room to enhance the height and bring a “New York” element to this Hamptons home.

We also used a giant marble slab on the kitchen wall to create drama when looking across the space.

In the powder room, a wallpaper resembling concrete continues the smooth-edged, semi-industrial theme, which we softened in the main guest room ...

... by wrapping the walls in grass-cloth wallpaper and finishing with an over-scale mirror hung horizontally.
